How much does a tattoo cost?
At my studio, the price of a tattoo is based on how long I expect the process to take.
It can be difficult to provide a price estimate without knowing the key factors. Size, level of detail, and the overall scope of the project are crucial elements.
A large tattoo with many details will typically result in a higher price. Therefore, as much as possible, try to include approximate size, placement, and style in your inquiry. The absolute best approach is to attach reference images or illustrations.
I recommend using my booking form to get a specific price estimate.
Remember, it’s completely okay to decline a tattoo if you feel it’s too expensive. It doesn’t cost anything to ask.
-
Why can't you give me an exact price?
The design often ends up slightly larger or smaller than expected because I adjust it to fit you on the day. For this reason, I usually provide you with a price range for the final cost.
There are also factors beyond my control, such as how long it takes to agree on placement/design, how still you sit in the chair, and how many breaks you might need. For smaller tattoos, I can typically give you a very precise price estimate.
-
Do I need to book an appointment, or can I just drop by?
I recommend and prefer that you book an appointment for your tattoo or consultation.
You’re welcome to stop by, but I can’t guarantee there will be time available.
-
How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment by sending an email through the booking form or via Direct Message on Instagram.
-
When are You available?
My available slots are usually posted on my Instagram story. Otherwise, feel free to send me a message.
-
What is Your minimum price?
Prices start at DKK 1,500.

Can You create a design for me, and what does it cost?
Of course, I’d love to! Creating unique designs is my greatest passion.
I’m happy to work with any inspiration you’ve gathered to better understand your vision. It’s important that you have an idea of what you’d like – whether it’s a specific motif or theme.
I charge a small reservation fee to book your appointment and begin preparing your project. This amount will be deducted from the final price on the day, meaning the design preparation essentially doesn’t cost you anything.
-
When will I see my design?
I create all designs on the day of the tattoo session, in collaboration with the customer. This way, you have the opportunity to provide direct input during the process. I’ve found that this makes the process much smoother.
If you’d like to see a finished design in advance, you’re welcome to book a design consultation. Prices start at DKK 750.

-
What does a Full-Day session cost?
From DKK 8,000, depending on whether it’s a 6-hour or 8-hour session.
-
How long is Your waiting time?
I typically have a waiting time of 2–3 weeks, sometimes up to a month.
I aim not to book too far in advance, as I know it can be frustrating to wait several months for a small tattoo.
My available slots are usually posted on my Instagram story, but feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
-
Is getting a tattoo dangerous?
No, getting a tattoo is not dangerous. However, there is a small risk of developing a minor infection, which is usually due to improper aftercare.
So always remember to follow the aftercare instructions. You can read them here.
-
Can I get a tattoo even if my skin is older?
Absolutely! I’ve had several clients in their 60s and 70s who’ve come to me for their first tattoo.
However, it’s worth keeping in mind that the more “experienced” the skin is, the higher the chance of ink spreading slightly. This isn’t something we can predict until the tattoo is done.
So, if you’re 60+, you might not expect the ink to appear as razor-sharp in the skin as it does on someone in their 20s.
-
Does it hurt getting a Tattoo?
Fineline tattoos don’t really hurt. 9 out of 10 of my clients are surprised by how mild the pain is.
The process uses very fine needles and works on the surface of the skin, so there’s less friction, making the pain much more tolerable. Most people describe it as feeling like being scratched with a sharp pencil. So, there’s no need to worry.
Areas like the ribs, stomach, feet, and ankles are among the more sensitive spots, but it’s very rare for anyone in my chair to find it unbearable.
If you’ve never been tattooed before and are generally sensitive to pain, I recommend starting with an area like the arm or thigh, which are some of the least painful spots.
-
Can I use numbing cream when getting a Tattoo?
No, numbing cream is not allowed unless I’ve approved it beforehand.
If you show up with numbing cream applied, you will either be sent home, and your prepayment will be forfeited, or the tattoo will need to be done on a different area of the body.
Numbing cream makes it almost impossible to create a fineline tattoo, as it toughens the skin, making it harder to work with and causing the ink to have more difficulty settling. Small fineline tattoos are already challenging enough on their own.
-
What should I bring to my appointment?
Make sure to get a good night’s sleep and eat a meal before your appointment, especially if you’ve booked a larger tattoo. Spending hours under the needle can be draining for your body.
Bring along food and drinks, a phone charger, and possibly a headset. I ensure good hygiene, and you should too. Take a shower the morning of your appointment and wear clean clothes. Avoid white or light-colored clothing, as the ink can be very difficult to remove. It’s also best to wear loose clothing that won’t press against your new tattoo.
If you’re getting tattooed on areas like the ribs or the middle of your back, you may be asked to remove your bra so the skin can rest in the most relaxed position when the stencil is applied. Consider wearing clothing that makes this process easier and more comfortable for you.
Don’t forget to bring reference images, either on your phone or printed out.
-
Can I get an allergy from the ink?
I always use vegan ink that complies with REACH regulations. Allergic reactions are rare but can happen.
In the EU, approximately 1 in 500,000 people annually experience issues with their tattoo. In Denmark, this amounts to only a few cases per year.
If you have severe allergies, you can opt for a patch test. This involves applying a small dot of ink on your skin to see how it reacts. The cost for this is DKK 750.
-
Do fineline tattoos last?
Fineline tattoos can last if done properly. A poorly executed fineline tattoo can fade or look bad after just a few years and may be very difficult to remove if the ink was placed too deeply. This is why it’s crucial to choose a skilled tattoo artist for this style.
A small fineline tattoo from me should stay looking good for at least 10–15 years if your skin is healthy and you take good care of it. Additionally, the tattoos I create are relatively easy to remove if you ever regret them in the future, usually requiring only 2–3 laser sessions.
In general, no small tattoos stay flawless for more than 20–25 years. If you’re looking for something that will look good for a longer time, I recommend going for a larger piece, such as a half-sleeve or a full sleeve.
-
Do fineline tattoos always need Touch-Ups?
Fineline tattoos generally heal less predictably than traditional tattoos and often require a touch-up, though this isn’t guaranteed. This is because the needles used are very small and technically challenging to work with.
When the needle is so fine and sharp, there’s a risk it can cut the skin slightly too much, which might prevent the skin from fully absorbing the ink.
This often results in the tattoo healing a bit patchy unless you have perfect skin. To address this, a touch-up is always included in the price.
I always strive to ensure my clients get the most perfect tattoo possible. That’s why I recommend sending photos or stopping by 1–1.5 months after the tattoo is done so I can evaluate whether a touch-up is necessary.
After the initial touch-up, you shouldn’t need another one for 10–15 years, depending on how well you care for your tattoo.
-
Why is the price higher for fineline tattoos?
The price is higher for a fineline tattoo because they often require a touch-up. A touch-up, if needed, is always included in the price within 3 months.
Additionally, over the years, I’ve developed a special technique that ensures my tattoos last longer than others and are easier to manage in the future.
My tattoos are designed with the goal of giving my clients an easy and lifelong experience with their tattoo:
That is, in 15–20 years, you’ll have a tattoo that can simply be touched up and made beautiful again, rather than one that has blurred and left you in a situation where you’d need to spend a lot of money on either a cover-up or multiple laser sessions. -
Do You touch up tattoos done by others?
I’m happy to touch up or fix tattoos done by other artists, as long as it’s something I can work on and I determine that it makes sense to do so.
If you have a tattoo you’d like touched up or aren’t sure whether it needs to be, feel free to send me a message along with a photo of the tattoo, and I’ll provide an assessment.

Illness / Cancellations – Can I get my prepayment back?
All prepayments are non-refundable. Under no circumstances can prepayments be refunded.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, it must be done at least 3 business days in advance. If this deadline is not met, your prepayment will be forfeited.
If you fall ill and wish to keep your prepayment, you must provide a valid doctor’s note.
-
Why Do I require a prepayment?
Prepayment serves as my guarantee as a self-employed professional. It ensures I have a steady income to cover my ongoing expenses each month.
It also helps filter out non-serious customers or inquiries. I take pride in running a professional business, and I expect the same level of commitment from my clients.
Ligeledes er det også med til at sortere useriøse kunder/henvendelser fra. Jeg går meget op i at drive en professionel forretning og det samme forventer at mine kunder gør.

Can I get a tattoo if I’m under 18?
